The Foodbank is grateful to welcome 300 volunteers in the coming week from The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Employees from a variety of departments, and even from different states, are volunteering with the Foodbank for the company’s fifth annual Global Week of Volunteering, contributing approximately 750 service hours.
Volunteers helped at the Foodbank’s grocery distribution yesterday and will support volunteer operations at both the Main Campus in Akron and the Stark County Campus until next Friday. For those employees who can’t leave the office, a volunteer project will be taken to them!
