Dan Flowers

Foodbanker since 2003

“Early in my career, I began to see and understand the correlation between the work of the food bank and the tragic impacts of poverty, substance abuse, mental health disorders and incarceration I witnessed growing up. From that time on, food-banking became a purpose in life for me. Sharing this work with other people that see purpose in it too is among the greatest joys in life. It’s all about the people.”

Double Dollar Day

Every year on Double Dollar Day, neighbors like you across Northeast Ohio come together to make a BIG impact for families facing hunger right here in our community. That’s because on this special day, your donation can help make TWICE the difference!

Our generous partners, The J.M. Smucker Co., T.L. Squire and other friends of the Foodbank, are offering a match challenge up to a total of $92,500. This means your donation can have a greater impact helping families facing hunger in our community.
