The city of Akron has started removing the Route 59 "Innerbelt" resulting in a few road closures near the Foodbank. This will primarily affect Network Partners coming to the Foodbank from the north.
Route 59 will continue to be open past the Opportunity Parkway exit, which is just below the bottom left corner of the SR59 Closure map. Please be advised that the closure may increase volume of traffic using the Opportunity Parkway exit. Also, a new traffic light has been installed at the end of the exit ramp opposite the main entrance of the Foodbank.
