The city of Akron has started removing the underused Route 59 "Innerbelt" resulting in quite a few road closures near the Foodbank. This will primarily affect Network Partners coming to the Foodbank from the north.
The innerbelt will continue to be open past the Opportunity Parkway exit, which is just below the bottom left corner of the SR59 Closure map attachment. Please be advised that the closure may increase volume of traffic using the Opportunity Parkway exit, and a new traffic light has been installed at the end of the exit ramp opposite our main entrance.
