The Foodbank offers many opportunities for you to get involved.
Stamp Out Hunger
Each spring, the Postal Service joins the NALC and the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank to Stamp Out Hunger. To help Stamp Out Hunger, simply leave a sturdy bag containing non-perishable foods, such as canned soup, canned vegetables, pasta, rice or cereal next to your mailbox prior to the specified day. The local letter carriers will then collect donations from homes across the area and deliver them to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. Learn more about Stamp Out Hunger.
Harvest for Hunger Campaign
Harvest for Hunger is the largest annual fundraiser for the Foodbank. This cooperative effort of four Northeast Ohio Foodbanks, covering 19 counties, takes place every March.
